Contrary to the name "Central" United Church, Central is not located in the centre of Stratford. There's a story here, but that will be covered in an upcoming History page.

Front entrance

• from downtown Stratford, follow the main east-west street (Ontario Street) westward towards the old Court House
• continue past the Court House, around the bend, and over the old bridge - you are now on Huron Street.
• continue west on Huron past 2 sets of traffic lights
• turn right at the next street after the 2nd set of traffic lights - this is Avondale Av
• continue about 1½ blocks north on Avondale - the church is on the left
• the driveway passes through the portico, then winds past the Scout gardens and CE wing to the parking areas at the side and rear of the building

Rear entrance and parking lot

• as above, but stay on Huron street one more block past Avondale Av and turn right at Huntingdon Av
• continue about 1½ blocks north on Huntingdon - the church is on the right
